What is MCA ?

Masters in Computer Applications is the full form of MCA. It is a post-graduate professional computer science degree. The goal of the course is to expose students to a thriving company IT culture. The main objectives of MCA education are application modelling and programming constructs. This course is designed for students who have little to no background in computer science and is geared towards the IT industry.

MCA Eligibility

MCA Course Eligibility criteria is mentioned below:

  • Students must have graduation in computer applications, computer science, or related field with a minimum of 50% marks obtained at the UG level to be eligible for MCA course.
  • Student must have mathematics as one of the subjects in Class 12 is compulsory.

WBJECA  - full form is West Bengal Joint Entrance Exam for Computer Application
BIT MCA - Birla Institute of Technology MCA Entrance Exam is a university-level exam conducted every year by BIT.
CUET MCA - full form is Central Universities Common Entrance Test. It is an all-India level entrance exam conducted by NTA. 
OJEE - full form is Odisha Joint Entrance Exam. It is a state-level entrance exam administered by OJEE Cell to grant admissions into courses like B. Pharm, MBA/PGDM, MCA, and M. Tech. 
PU CET - stands for Panjab University Undergraduate Common Entrance Test. Panjab University conducts PU CET PG entrance exams to grant admission into postgraduate courses at the university. 
IPU CET - stands for Indraprastha University Common Entrance Test. It is a university-level conducted by Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. 
KIITEE - stands for Kalinga Institute Of Industrial Technology Entrance Exam which is held to get admission in KIIT deemed to be university present in Bhubaneswar,Odisha.
